Heather grew up in Oak Park, Ill in a wealthy family. Her father was a famed jazz arranger and composer. Heather's mother was a controlling individual who had Heather arrested several times and put in psychiatric holds. Heather married a boy her mother didn't like. The story is so involved. She took her daughter on vacation to Bali, Indonesia. There Heather and her husband plotted to kill Heather's mother. Heather's father had died before this from colon cancer. Heather wanted to gain control of her mother's $11 million dollars in assets. To make a long story short which you can read about in the New York Post article Heather's husband beat her mother to death with a fruit bowl and stuffed her body into a suitcase. They left the hotel but the cab driver noticed blood leaking from the suitcase. Both were arrested and Heather was sentenced to 10 years and her husband 18 years. Heather is getting out three years early with her sentenced commuted by the President of Indonesia. So she served 7 years in the participation in the murder of her mother. If this crime was committed in the US she would easily be in prison for another 15-20 years. They have to make this murder into a movie. When you read the full article there is so much to the story.
